U.S. Ambassador Gives Press Conference In Astana

The U.S. Embassy cordially invites members of the Astana press corps to a press conference on June 10 at 15:00 at the U.S. Embassy. The press conference will be given by U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Richard E. Hoagland. Ambassador Hoagland will take questions on any issue concerning the U.S.-Kazakhstani strategic partnership, including the meetings in which he participated during Foreign Minister Tazhin’s trip to the United States and President Barack Obama’s recent speech in Cairo outlining a new beginning for the United States’ relationship with the Islamic world.
Journalists who would like to attend the press conference are requested to arrive by 14:30 at the main entrance of the U.S. Embassy in Astana, 3, 22-23 Str., Ak-Bulak 4, and should contact the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section in advance at 70 22 16 or 70 24 15.
