KIMEP Students Quiz Ambassador

On June 9, Ambassador Hoagland welcomed 63 KIMEP students to the Embassy. The students asked the Ambassador questions on U.S.-Kazakhstani political and economic relations, the current global economic crisis, educational opportunities in the United States, and many other topics. Later in the day, the students toured the Embassy and learned how an Embassy functions.
The KIMEP students were in Astana to intern at Parliament. Through this program, they had an opportunity to gain inside knowledge about government and politics through field trips and other hands-on experience.
