KIMEP students at U.S. Embassy

Jeffrey Sexton welcomes KIMEP students

On May 14^th , 2012 the Counselor for Public Affairs  Jeffrey Sexton and Chief of Political/Economic Section, Jennifer Bachus welcomed 65 KIMEP students to the Embassy.  The students had an opportunity to ask questions on topics ranging from U.S.-Kazakhstani political and economic relations, and educational opportunities in the United States.  The KIMEP students are in Astana to intern at Parliament and the Ministries of Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Education and Science.  This program gives them the opportunity to gain inside knowledge about government and politics through field-trips and other hands-on experience.
