Non-Immigrant Visas

Group Interview

If you travel as a group of 7 people or more (students, exchange visitors, kids going for summer camps, sport teams etc.), you need to use our Group Application option. It makes the interview process faster and smoother for the applicants.

VISA PROCEDURE

Schedule an interview date as early as possible and send your contact information to: usakz@state.gov

When the interview time is booked, download RDS software or receive a CD Rom at the Embassy.

Install the RDS program on a computer with a floppy disk drive. See installation instructions.

When installing RDS under II.3 put:
BUSINESS NAME: Group
CODE: P1

When the program is installed, enter data for one applicant and send it to us as an attachment. There should be two files - one with DAT extension, another with a DBF extension. When we determine that the program works correctly, enter all applicants’ data and send it as an attachment to usakz@state.gov at least 3 working days before the scheduled interview date.

Submit paper documents (see requirements below) at least 3 working days before the interview. On the scheduled date the group comes for their interview, the coordinator pays the consular fee ($131 for each application) at Window 1. The applicants submit their supporting documents.

The group comes on the scheduled date for their interview.
