American Studies
The U.S. Embassy Information Service strives to encourage greater understanding of the United States, its history and people through the support of American Programs in Kazakhstani universities via book donations, materials, guest lectures and American Specialists. It also encourages scholars to utilize the 3,500 — book American Studies Library located at the National Academy of Sciences.
